What Would You Ask of Jesus?

what would you ask Jesus?

And behold, two blind men sitting by the road, when they heard that Jesus was passing by, cried out, saying, “Have mercy on us, O Lord, Son of David!”

Then the multitude warned them that they should be quiet; but they cried out all the more, saying, “Have mercy on us, O Lord, Son of David!”

So Jesus stood still and called them, and said, “What do you want Me to do for you?”

Christmas is coming. The celebration of Jesus’s birth is coming. And people are asking others for gifts.

Jesus asked the two men, “What do you want Me to do for you?”

If you were sitting by the road,

And Jesus was passing by,

And you could ask him for anything,

What would you ask?

  1. What would you ask?:

My needs are few: Wisdom, knowledge, understanding, and discernment!
As a young believer in the 80s I joined others at the “altar” in our Foursquare church to ask our Father for what we were in need of or what we desired from Him. I knew immediately what the desire of my heart was and I knew that whatsoever I should ask of Him that He would give it to me liberally. That year I asked for “wisdom”.
And you know, whatsoever YOU ask He will give liberally because He is no respecter of persons. He is faithful and just to answer our petitions, for He is The King, and He extends His scepter to those who love and obey Him, and will even grant us His Kingdom! For human kings were willing to grant only up to half of their kingdoms, but our Almighty God gave His all, and His stake was HIGH.
He hasn’t stopped answering my petition after all these years, and He’ll keep providing our requests especially when they are in line with what He wants us to have.
