Boy, if that isn’t truth!!!
I find myself continually praying and thanking Him when I awake each morning into a new day to give Him Glory and to ordain my steps and the work of my hands.
I find myself continually thanking my ABBA in Heaven every morning when I receive His gift of a hot shower to ease my aching body and jump start me for the day.
I find myself thanking Him for each meal I’ve consumed.
I find myself thanking Him for answers to prayer for those in need.
I find myself thanking Him for my wonderful husband in whom I am well pleased and grateful for the years we’ve had together; he is my hero!
I find myself thanking Him that I can pay the bills, clean the house, do laundry, prepare meals.
I find myself thanking Him for watching over us and keeping us safe on the road & in our home.
I find myself thanking Him for my children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren whom He oversees on a daily basis.
I find myself thanking Him for each and every friend I have and treasure.
I find myself thanking Him for healing us when we are ill, and keeping us in His welfare.
I find myself thanking Him for a warm bed at night and a roof over my head and warm clothing when I’m cold.
I find myself thanking Him for the gifts He bestows upon His people and the blessings that come with using them.
I find myself thanking Him for His WORD which sustains me every day of my life and the consistent hunger for His food which is to do His will.
I find myself thanking Him for the gift of sight and speech.
I find myself thanking Him for the sunshine, the rain, and the snow, and the moon at night.
I find myself thanking Him for a warm bed at night and a roof over my head and for shelter from the storms.
I find myself thanking Him for His Set-apart Spirit who resides in me and leads me into paths of righteousness, who wooed me and drew me to the Son of God, the Son of Man, My Savior.
I find myself thanking Him that through patience and comfort of the Scriptures I have hope.
I find myself thanking Him for the hope that is within me and the longing to see Him rule and reign from Jerusalem one day.
I find myself thanking Him for wisdom, knowledge, understanding, and discernment–the tools which I use to serve and Honor Him all the days of my life.
I find myself thanking Him that I know the love of the Messiah, which passes knowledge, that I might be filled with all the fullness of Elohim.
I find myself thanking Him for His unfailing love.
I find myself thanking Him Who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that I ask or think, according to the power that works in me.
I find myself thanking Him for the things He has done which were above and beyond what I could dare to ask or think.
But most of all I am eternally grateful for His gift of salvation–for calling this grateful soul out of darkness and into His marvelous light; I look forward to His final salvation from evil in the world.
This is what Thanksgiving means to me this year as I turn 65 on Thanksgiving Day; I rejoice in life.
wow, I feel pointed, which is good, I need to change
