God Running is a place for anyone who wants to love Jesus more deeply, follow Jesus more closely, and love people the way Jesus wants us to.

In that blog post I briefly touched on how the Christian Church has been responsible for the deaths of large numbers of people. I went on to write about the much larger numbers of people killed by governments whose atheism was central to their ideology.

After reading that last article, some of you might be saying, “Okay, so I see the disparity, but that still doesn’t excuse the bad behavior of the Christian Church. What about that?”

That’s a good point and a great question.

And what I would say, is this:

Anytime the Christian Church is criticized for straying from the teachings of Jesus Christ, the criticism is a valid one.
