“…first, some full disclosure: I play video games. I enjoy playing them as a way to unwind. I am a colossal nerd of pocket protector proportions. Sometimes I play with my friends online. And wear a bluetooth ear piece.”
From there he goes on to share his response to disparaging comments made about video games by Mark Driscoll and Russell Moore.

I have often used video games to unwind after a busy day, especially when I only have a little free time.
Choosing a game that fits your schedule and setting a reasonable stopping point can keep gaming relaxing instead of letting it take over the evening.
Yeah, well, you’re a better man than I am, Mark. At the time I wrote that, I wasn’t playing video games. A few years after, I started playing EVE Online. And it didn’t just take over an evening. It was taking over my life! The joke in the EVE Online community is that you win the game the moment you quit the game. That’s what I had to do. Since those EVE Online days, I admire people who can play video games in moderation. Thank you for your comment and God bless you Mark!
