Speaking of Jesus’ first miracle, changing the water into wine at the wedding in Cana, Dave Teixeira said:
There’s this great moment in the middle of this story. Mary says, “Do whatever he tells you to do.” Then Jesus goes on to tell these guys (the servants) to go and refill these giant jars of water for cleansing. And I have to imagine that the servants at this point were thinking, “What in the world is going on here? Why is this going to help? How is this going to help the wine problem in any way? We’re out of wine. Putting water in the cleansing jars isn’t going to help at all.”
But what do they do? They listen. They obey. They follow. They trust him. And then what’s the end result? Lots of wine for the people to drink.
You know, it’s interesting how so many times we say, “God, show me the path, show me the way. I want to follow you.”
And He says, “Alright, we’re going this way.”
And we say, “I don’t see how that’s going to help Lord!”

But the wine speaks of Jesus’ blood.
And we see from the way the servants followed Jesus’ words that trusting Jesus solves problems.
Trusting Jesus brings results.
We can even see that trusting Jesus–leads to tasting Jesus.
